Charcoal Windowpane Lovat Tweed Waistcoat
 
A superb windowpane check British Wool tweed by Lovat Mill. An incredibly warm and well-made tweed with a charcoal coloured herringbone weave, overlayed with a darker and lighter blue check.
 
This outer is available to order in our Tailored or Classic Cut in sizes 36" to 54", with any of our collar types.
 
Our Lovat waistcoats are lined in Cotton Ticking. Should you prefer a smoother alternative, we would suggest Viscose in 'Charcoal', or, should you want to pump things up a notch, silk is always an option. You are free to choose from our full range of linings which you can see in the Linings pop up box above. If you are selecting an alternative to the linings we have put forward, please advise us of your choice in the comments at checkout.
 
Ticking lends additional structure to the outer, viscose a smoother glide inside and silk a note of soft luxury. A viscose lining will add £10 to the listed price, a silk lining will add £30.
 
Outside we suggest a Horn or a Black Corozo button.
 
Customising your Waistcoat
 
Our lining and button recommendations are set out in the menu, but you are of course free to choose alternatives.
 
Custom sizing, button and lining choices should be added when you reach the cart.
 
Should any additional charges arise from size and length alterations we will advise you of these and wait for your agreement before commencing your order.

The photographs show the tweed made up in the Classic Cut Waistcoat with a Nehru collar.  We have used Horn Buttons and a Cotton Ticking lining.

Woven with care in the home of tweed by Lovat. Lovat Mill sits on the bank of the river Teviot in Hawick just a few metres away from the origins of tweed itself – so we could hardly offer tweed without them!
