We offer our waistcoats in two cuts, the Classic Fit, a boxier form and the Tailored Fit – a more shaped form.
The two cuts are otherwise identical. They both have five button-fronts and side vents for ease when moving and sitting. Fully lined, they have generous inside facings to avoid unsightly lining slippage.
At the chest a welted outbreast pocket sits at a gentle angle to the armhole. Two generously deep pockets sit squarely at the hip; these can be fashioned either with a welt or a double-welt (or jet) opening.
Inside our waistcoats, an inbreast pocket rests on the right hand side and a credit card sized pocket at elbow height on the left.

Our buttons come from the wonderful Courtney & Co in Gloucestershire. We offer a small, but carefully selected collection of buttons. If you don't see your ideal match, please let us know – provided it is made in Britain, we will be happy to add alternatives as requested.

House cuts fashion the outbreast pocket with a welt and the hip pockets with double welt. Should you prefer a double welt up top or single welts down below, please just let us know – we will adapt accordingly.

Inside we have a deep inbreast pocket on the right and a credit-card sized pocket at elbow level on the left. If you prefer to omit these, please let us know at the time of ordering.

We hope your waistcoat will long outlive your smartphone (and perhaps even smartphones), and we know these things change (and grow) ... but in making our pockets, we have taken care to ensure that both the inbreast and the hip pockets can sit the current batch of large size smartphones vertically.
