Multicoloured Harris Tweed Waistcoat
This Harris Tweed has an incredibly vivid colouring matched with an unusual and subtle patterning with hints of blue, green, teal, sea grey and dark russet. This is a truly remarkable textile, woven with care by hand on the Isle of Lewis by Carloway Mill.
We have made up a waistcoat in our last remaining length – it is a Classic Cut Waistcoat with a Mandarin Collar and Flat Horn buttons, lined in Light Grey Viscose.
Our tweed waistcoats are lined in Ticking, but you are free to choose alternatives. A Teal Blue Viscose would look superb but there's no harm in plumping for a sumptuous silk. If you prefer one of the latter – or something else altogether – just choose silk in the lining menu and let us know which.
Ticking lends additional structure to the outer, viscose a smoother glide inside and silk a note of soft luxury. A viscose lining will add £10 to the listed price, a silk lining will add £30.
Outside we suggest either a Flat Horn or a Ridged Horn button.
Customising your Waistcoat
Our lining and button recommendations are set out in the menu, but you are of course free to choose alternatives. Custom sizing, button and lining choices should be added when you reach the cart.
Should any additional charges arise from size and length alterations we will advise you of these and wait for your agreement before commencing your order.
The Maker
